Enhancing the storytelling skills of youth to take effective actions on the environment from across the world.

Our People Our Climate, a ground-breaking documentary film initiative, will present their remarkable work aiming to develop the storytelling skills of indigenous youth and young adults. Join us, along with youth, educators and artists from around the world for a special virtual workshop on March 7, 2023.

This free, virtual learning event is being made possible with support from the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), the Minneapolis College of Art and Designthe University of St. Thomas and Colegio Hacienda Los Alcaparros.

“Participants will learn how to craft a photojournalism story about climate change in their community, and will have the opportunity to share their work for later publication and exhibition on an online platform,” said Dr. Olaf Kuhlke, professor and Chair of Arts Entrepreneurship at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
